Malzahar - The Prophet of the Void
Many
men have gone mad beneath the glare of the Shurima sun, but it was
during the night's chilling embrace that Malzahar relinquished his
sanity. Malzahar was born a seer, blessed with the gift of prophecy.
His talent, though unrefined, promised to be one of Runeterra's
greatest boons, but destiny plotted him another course; his
sensitivity to the roiling tides of fate allowed other, unwelcome
things to tug at his subconscious mind. In his dreams, where the veil
of separation is thinnest, a sinister thing beckoned. For some time,
Malzahar was able to resist its prodding solicitation, but with each
passing night the voice grew louder, or perhaps deeper, until he
could withstand the call no more.
He
ventured into the desert without supplies, drawn by the lure of a
specious charm. His destination: a lost civilization to the east,
known to ancient texts as Icathia. Few believed such a place ever
existed, and those who did were certain that the sands had long since
devoured whatever remained. When Malzahar's cracked feet finally
failed him, he found himself kneeling at the base of a bizarre
crumbling obelisk. Beyond it lain the alien geometry of a ruined city
and the giant decaying idols of dark and horrific gods. His eyes,
seeing what others cannot, and what none should, were filled with the
essence of the Void. His once shifting visions of the future were
replaced with the immutable promise of Valoran beset by creatures of
the Void. Standing alone, but not alone, amidst the echoing dunes, he
noticed the familiar voice escape his own lips in a parched rasp,
bearing three words whose weight trembled his knees: League of
Legends. Now infused with the power of the void itself, Malzahar set
off to the north to seek his fate.
"The land may melt,
the sea may swell, the sky may fall… but They will come."

Items
Recommended
Items.
Boots of Mobility
Mejai's Soulstealer
Rod of Ages
Rylai's Scepter/Archangel's Staff
Zhonya's Ring
Void Staff
I only get Mejai's if I'm sure I can get it stacked, otherwise I tend to replace it with Abyssal Scepter.
Also,
I get Rylai's scepter if I find myself too squishy, otherwise I get
Archangel's for the massive AP & mana boost.
Void Staff
before Zhonya's for the magic pene.

Summoner Abilities
1.Clarity
– Very handy, as your mana pool is pretty low.
2. Flash – Very
handy, Flash in, Null Zone + Ulti = Profit
Other choices would be:
Replacing flash with, Ignite or Teleport.
6.
Summary
Game
Mechanics/Strategy:
-Malefic
Visions has a somewhat wide area of effect compared to the visual
effect.
-Malzahar's passive to summon a voidling, can be quite
effective if your target runs to his tower, as it'll chase him as
long as you dont turn around.
-Malzahar's abilities are great for
harassment, especially his Malefic Visions
-Malzahar's Null Zone
is great for denying your enemies minion kills.
-Rule
of Thumb
Harrass with Null Zone, farm with Malefic Visions.
7.
Creep Jungling
Always
try to get the golem buff, You should be able to start getting it at lvl 6.
You
can farm the lizard eldar as well if no-one else on your team needs
it.
8.
Working with your team.
Malzahar
is not the one to initiate fights, he's the the one killing the enemy
off slowly
Putting down Null Zone in the middle of a team fight,
along with your two other spells will strip a lot of the enemy's hp.
Stunning the enemies tank or main dmg deal with your ulti will help ensure the win.
9.Farming
Malzahar
is an awesome pusher after early game, as all of your abilities
(except your ulti anyway) can basically erradicate a group of
minions, regardless of the number.
10.
Tips and Tactics
-Useing
your ulti on champions standing in Null Zone is almost a guaranteed
kill if you put Malefic Visions on them as soon as your ulti is done
channeling.
-Null Zone is great for tower harassing & checking the brush.
